The full rules below govern. Where they differ from this summary, the card or any other material, the full rules apply.
1. Sponsor
Run the Book (the "Contest") is run by Broker Agentx Inc. (the "Sponsor"), 81 Bellingham Dr., Hamilton, Ontario.
The Contest is run solely by the Sponsor. It is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) or IBAOcon 2026.
2. No purchase necessary
No purchase or payment of any kind is needed to enter or to win.
A free Broker Agentx account comes with starter credits. Starter credits are enough to complete all eleven workflows.
Buying a paid plan does not improve anyone's chance of winning.
3. Who can enter
The Contest is open to individuals who, when they enter and on the draw date:
- have reached the age of majority in Ontario (18);
- hold a valid insurance broker licence issued by the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO); and
- work at a brokerage located in Ontario that places commercial property and casualty insurance.
Not eligible: employees, officers, directors and contractors of the Sponsor, and members of their immediate families or households.
Each entrant is responsible for making sure their brokerage allows them to take part and to accept the prize.
4. Contest period
The Contest starts when the IBAOcon 2026 exhibit floor opens on October 21, 2026. It ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on November 20, 2026 (the "Contest Period").
The Sponsor's system clock is the official timekeeper for the Contest.
5. How to enter
Entry is only at Broker Agentx booth 1006, during IBAOcon 2026 exhibit hours on October 21 or 22, 2026. To enter:
- create a free Broker Agentx account; and
- complete the paper entry form and hand it in at the booth.
The account registered to the email address on your entry form is your "Contest Account". Each entrant has one Contest Account. The Contest Account must be created on October 21 or 22, 2026. Accounts created before October 21, 2026 cannot be used to enter.
Limit one entry per person. There are no entries by mail, email, online or any other way. If there is a dispute about who made an entry, the entry belongs to the person named on the entry form.
6. How to qualify for the draw
An entry qualifies for the draw (an "Eligible Entry") when the entrant personally completes each of these eleven workflows at least once, in their Contest Account, during the Contest Period:
| # | Workflow |
|---|---|
| 01 | Risk Profile |
| 02 | Coverage Summary |
| 03 | Gap Review |
| 04 | App Prefill |
| 05 | Appetite Search |
| 06 | Business Narrative |
| 07 | Submission Email |
| 08 | Policy Comparison |
| 09 | Proposal |
| 10 | Risk Scan |
| 11 | LinkedIn Post |
A workflow counts as complete when Broker Agentx records it as completed in the Contest Account. The workflows can be run on any client or prospect account, and they do not have to be run on the same one. The setup steps on the card (Fill Profile, Connect Inbox, Connect LinkedIn) are recommended but not required.
Completing a workflow never requires sending an email or publishing a post. Nothing sends or publishes without the entrant's confirmation, and whether to send or publish is the entrant's choice.
These do not count: workflows completed before the entrant's entry or after the Contest Period, workflows completed in any account other than the Contest Account, and workflows completed by automated means or by anyone other than the entrant.
The Sponsor verifies completion from its system records of workflow activity. The Sponsor does not review the contents of client documents to verify completion. The Sponsor's records are final.
7. Your documents and your clients
Entrants use their own documents. There is no sample file.
Each entrant is responsible for having the right to upload and use any client or prospect information, and for meeting their own professional and privacy obligations when they do. Use of Broker Agentx is governed by its Terms of Service (https://www.brokeragentx.com/terms) and Privacy Policy (https://www.brokeragentx.com/privacy).
8. Prize
There is one prize: $1,000 in Canadian funds (approximate value $1,000 CAD).
The Sponsor pays the prize to the confirmed winner by cheque within 30 days of confirming them as the winner. The prize must be accepted as awarded. It cannot be transferred or substituted.
The winner is responsible for any taxes that may apply.
9. Draw and odds
On November 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time in Hamilton, Ontario, the Sponsor will select one Eligible Entry at random from all Eligible Entries.
The odds of winning depend on the number of Eligible Entries.
10. Before the prize is awarded
To be confirmed as the winner, the selected entrant must:
- respond within five (5) business days after the Sponsor's first attempt to reach them by email or phone, using the details on the entry form;
- correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, without help of any kind, by phone or video call at a time arranged with the Sponsor; and
- sign and return, within five (5) business days of receiving it, a declaration and release confirming their eligibility and that they followed these rules, agreeing to Section 11, and releasing the Sponsor from liability in connection with the Contest and the prize.
If the selected entrant cannot be reached, does not meet these requirements, is found not eligible or declines the prize, they forfeit it. The Sponsor may then select another Eligible Entry at random, and will repeat this until a winner is confirmed.
11. Publicity
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that the Sponsor may announce and publish their name, brokerage, city and photograph, including on the Sponsor's website and social media, without further compensation, where the law allows.
The Sponsor will not publish the names of any other entrants.
12. Personal information
The Sponsor uses personal information from the entry form and the Contest Account to run the Contest. That means checking eligibility, verifying completion, contacting the selected entrant and awarding the prize. It is handled under the Broker Agentx Privacy Policy at https://www.brokeragentx.com/privacy.
Entering the Contest does not sign anyone up for marketing messages. Any consent to marketing messages is collected separately, when the entrant creates their account.
13. General conditions
- By entering, entrants agree to these rules. The Sponsor's decisions on all matters relating to the Contest are final.
- The Sponsor may disqualify anyone who tampers with the Contest, uses automated means, makes more than one entry or Contest Account, gives false information, or acts in a way the Sponsor reasonably considers unfair.
- The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible or incomplete entry forms, or for technical problems that affect access to Broker Agentx or the recording of workflow activity.
- To the extent the law allows, the Sponsor is not liable for any loss or damage arising from taking part in the Contest or accepting the prize.
- If something beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control affects the fair running of the Contest, the Sponsor may change, suspend or cancel it. Any change will be posted at brokeragentx.com/run.
- The Contest is governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Void where prohibited.
- Questions about the Contest: info@brokeragentx.com.
